There are a few factors that must be considered when selling your home...
First and foremost...Price - You must be priced correctly.
Second ... Condition- a new home buyer wants exactly that- a new home. Your home, to sell , must be more than just everyday clean...it must be "show me" clean. Look around your home with new eyes. Look at it as if you were in someone else's open house. Are there cobwebs on the ceiling? How does your laundry room look. Everyone that enters your home will try to envision themselves there...and lets be frank we all want a clean well organized home!
Last, but probably the most important, location, location, location. There are many neighborhoods in St. Louis, each having its own "personality". You may think you can't do anything about that-but look around. How is the outside of your home maintained? How are the neighbors doing with their home maintenance? Is there trash in the street? Overgrown weeds in the common area. Are there cars that don't appear to ever move?
There is an old saying "a path that is owned by many-gets swept by none".
